Checklist for product listing on the Affiliate Network


To ensure that your product meets the standards for the Selar Affiliate Network, the following criteria must be met:

1. Clear Product Images:

  • Ensure that your product has high-quality and clear images that showcase its features effectively.

2. Clear Product Descriptions:

  • Provide detailed product descriptions. Preference is given to products with dedicated sales pages that explain the benefits and value of the product.

3. Pricing Requirements:

  • The price of your product should be at least ₦3,000.
  • Exception: For specific merchants with high sales volume, lower-priced products may be allowed.

4. Store Descriptions and Social Media Links:

  • Include a well-written store description.
  • Provide links to your social media channels to enhance credibility and customer trust.

5. Affiliate Commission Setup:

  • Set an affiliate commission for your products.
  • You have the flexibility to:
    • Set a fixed commission for all your products.
    • Create different commission rates for different products.

6. Commission Percentage:

  • For high-ticket products priced at ₦50,000 and above, the minimum commission should be 20%.
  • For all other products, the commission should be at least 30%.

7. Support Channel:

  • Provide a dedicated support channel to help resolve any issues related to your product(s).

Important Note:  

  • Currently, only digital products are allowed on the Selar Affiliate Network.


Ensure that your product meets all these requirements before listing it on the Selar platform to maximize its promotion and sales potential.
